What a beautiful day it was for a car wash! A little heat, but nothing a spray down with the hose couldn't fix...at least that's what I told the kids as I helped to cool them down. =) Major thanks to all the youth who worked so hard. They even washed MY car which was beyond due for a good cleaning. Also, thanks to all who came by. They raised $388 in less than three hours which is pretty impressive!
Also, a good friend of mine is interning atStuder Group in town and he mentioned what I am doing to one of his bosses who sent out an e-mail to the whole company with my story, etc. They had a casual day in honor of my trip and anyone who wanted to wear jeans to work could contribute $5 to do so. They earned $228!! Huge thanks to Chris and to Studer Group.
It's crazy how support just comes out of the woodwork! I am one blessed girl...
